Summer’s Here! Week 1: Robotics with Beetle Bots

Category: Robots, STEM, Summer Camp

Our theme this week at EIS will be robotics! To kick it off, today we had a presentation on robotics by one of our own instructors, Anjelica Thang. The presentation is designed to prepare the students to make their own robots (or beetle bots.) Throughout the week, along with their other STEM classes, the students will learn how to build a robot that will move and function just like a bug for Museum of Man’s Living With Animals program. We will end the week on Friday with a field trip to the Museum of Man, where the students will participate in a final competition battling their robot beetles!
