STEM Educator (Part-Time)
Position Type: Part-Time
Reports To: Amirah Smith, Education Programs Manager
Location: Elementary Institute of Science (608 51st Street, San Diego CA 92114)
Schedule:
– Aug 24 – May 14, 10-20 hours/week
– 8:30am – 3:00pm (times vary by day)
Compensation: $22/hour
Position Overview
We are looking for someone passionate about providing high quality STEM experiences for all students, and promoting equal opportunity for underrepresented and underserved students. A STEM Educator is responsible for the implementation of various school year programs, including but not limited to Steps-2-STEM, Science Academy (Saturdays), Community Outreach, and more. Curriculum consists of NGSS aligned hands-on science activities.
Learning2 Educator (Part-Time)

A Learning2 Instructor will be responsible for the instruction of a science and literacy program that takes place at various elementary schools within the Lincoln Cluster. Lessons consist of read-alouds, word work, hands-on activities, and more.
