April 22 – RSVP for Teen Science Cafe!

Thank You Macy’s!

This March, twenty high school students from southeastern San Diego participated in the Girls Take Flight Spring Drone Camp.

Students learned about flight maneuvers and drone regulations and wrote code that flew a drone autonomously. Our guest speakers were female drone pilots who are involved with Geographical Mapping, Construction, Real Estate, and Social Media or Marketing sectors- all using drones as a tool. Thank you Macy’s for sponsoring Spring Drone Camp for high school girls to learn that they have a place in technology careers.

Thank You San Diego Lion’s Welfare Foundation

In our EIS Animal Adventures Science Camp, students learned all about animal habitats, adaptations, and how to protect endangered species! In addition to fun science experiments, we visited the San Diego Animal Sanctuary and Farm by the Children’s Nature Retreat Foundation and the San Diego Zoo. Thank you to The San Diego Lions Welfare Foundation and all the individual donors who supported scholarships for our 2023 spring camp.

We Are Hiring!

The Mathemagician Homework Club

If you would like to participate, email info@mathemagiciansclub.com. Include your email, your child’s grade, and math concepts they are working on (or share an attachment of their homework). Mentors will offer help, more practice problems or worksheets. This includes SAT math help as well. They will monitor this email daily so you don’t have to wait until Saturday to ask for help.

The Mathemagicians App is here!  In addition to joining the Mathemagicians every Saturday for math tutoring, students can now practice math on the new app. It’s available for free at the “Apple App Store” for download. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mathemagicians/id1557607923
