After School & Saturday Programs

Where STEM Meets Creativity and Fun

Our After School & Saturday Programs give students ages 8–13 the chance to explore STEM in creative, hands-on ways that spark curiosity and build essential life skills. Our young learners develop scientific thinking while expressing their artistic side, creating a foundation for lifelong learning.

Families can choose between a 10-week semester of Textile Art and Science or Video Game Design Each week, students gain new skills in critical thinking, teamwork, and creativity – all while having fun, making friends, and taking home projects that show off what they’ve learned.

Winter Programs start January 10th.

Fall Classes

Science & Art Academy (Ages 8–10): Blend creativity with discovery through exciting themes like video game design, chemistry, biology, cooking, and ecology.

Robotics Academy (Ages 11–13): Build, code, and engineer robots in a fun, collaborative environment, with special sessions for All-Girls and Co-ed groups. Students tackle real-world challenges while developing technical expertise and confidence in STEM fields.

Winter Classes

Textile Arts and Science (Ages 7–10):In the 10 week session, EIS is partnering with Educreate and Zero Waste San Diego, to learn about Textile Arts and Science. Students will discover chemistry through natural dyes, geography through global textile traditions, and engineering through weaving and digital design. Each Saturday builds skills while creating beautiful works for our community showcase on April 18th.

Video Game Design (Ages 11–13): Design, code, and play your own original video game! Students will draft storyboards, create characters, learn coding fundamentals, and explore robotics. Each week builds essential game development skills—from concept to playable reality.
