Register for Thanksgiving Break Tech Camp

Thank You for Helping EIS Celebrate 60 Years!

It was a joy to join together and celebrate the heart work and hard work we all do and to honor two of the original founding members Ardelle Matthews and Doris Watts (Doris was unable to attend). Special gratitude to Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber, Ph.D and her staff, Councilmember Henry Foster and staff, our amazing Individual Giving Manager Annie Petersen who worked so hard to ensure an amazing event and of course EIS staff and volunteers.

Thank you to the current students and alumni who were able to join us and talk about your experiences at EIS. For those of you just starting on your STEM journey, we can’t wait to see what bright futures you will create. To those of you already in STEM, congratulations on your success!

Thank you to all our guests who find a place for EIS in their hearts and lives. – whether you are a relative of students, a friend, a program partner, or a financial supporter – thank you so much for being part of our community.

And thank you to our event sponsors, KidSpark Education, Sycuan Tribal Government, Booz Allen, Robert Cademy, and Mel & Linda Katz.

Walter Munk Day 2024

We had a fun time celebrating Walter Munk Day 2024 and learning about ocean conservation with our wonderful partners The Walter Munk Foundation For The Oceans. Thank you to our Digital and Community Programs Manager John Ortiz and STEM Instructor (and EIS alum) Abby Casanova for representing EIS.

At EIS we are immensely grateful to include Filipino students in our programs. Thank you for joining us!

We appreciate this opportunity to honor the countless Filipino Americans have contributed so much to our community, our nation, and the world.

Have you participated in programs or volunteered at the Elementary Institute of Science?
Whether you’re still in high school, college, working or retired, we want to know what you’ve been up to and if you have thoughts about any impact EIS had on your life or career. Please send an email to our Development Assistant, Leah Oviedo at loviedo@eisca.org.

EIS alumni are invited to join our official group to reconnect and stay updated on future reunions. Facebook.com/groups/AlumniConnectEIS
