Fun Fact: “I was the worst wrestler on the team the year before I was the captain of the team.”
“I was born in Ukraine and arrived in San Diego as a refugee at the age of ten. I love to uncover hidden talents and creativity in students and to teach them to apply engineering to their everyday life. EIS gives me the freedom for innovation in teaching as well as learning, letting students learn about science, art and history to uncover new and innovative ideas locked inside the students’ minds. My favorite lesson is the student prototype project, where after learning mechanical and electrical engineering, I get to see student’s prototype inventions of their own design.”
