Supporting and building up STEM educators are crucial for nurturing students' STEM literacy. EIS pursues these goals by offering professional development opportunities through EIS Academy, and creating opportunities for educators to engage their students with EIS either in the classroom or at EIS.

Code.org

As the Code.org Regional Learning Partner for San Diego, EIS works with local partners to train educators to teach computer science and broaden student access to computer science learning opportunities.

EiE

EIS offers training for educators to teach the Engineering is Elementary (EiE) curriculum, which was developed by the Boston Museum of Science to promote engineering literacy in grades 1 through 8.
